Very perplexing: We're running SpamAssassin (under MailScanner
on one system, not on another), with Razor installed, and it worked
very well for many months. But lately, although Razor checks are
apparently still running fine, not a single spam message comes back
marked by the database. We get spam tagging based on SA's other
tests, but zero results from Razor, so our success rate is down.
Seems unlikely that none of the last 150 or more spam messages we've
received just on two accounts would be in the database, suggesting
that something's wrong with Razor. But since I've seen no other
reports like this, that seems unlikely too. I'm afraid I don't know
when the last Razor detection was, don't have the old logs, but I
believe it's been at least a month since it last worked reliably.
Any ideas?
The system:
FreeBSD 4.5, MailScanner-4.05-3, Mail-SpamAssassin-2.43, razor-agents-2.34,
razor-agents-sdk-2.03, sendmail-8.12.8.
Following is a snippet from the razor-agent.log, showing that it's working:
