Hi,
You need to manually remove all locations of ht e Client dir. Look
under your perl subdir (/usr/lib/perl/..../Razor2

I actually removed the entire Razor2 dir from /usr/lib/perl/.... then
applied patch to source tree of razor 2.36 and then started with the
make process.

Then rebooted machine and it worked ( you don't really need to reboot..
I just wanted it too since it is a new machine).
I hope this helps.

bye

I applied the Razor2.patch and restarted spamd. I am still getting the
same error, which was slightly different
than the one described by others. Here's the one I'm getting:

Sep 26 07:03:37 metis spamd[30778]: razor2 check skipped: Illegal seek
Insecure dependency in connect while
running setuid at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux/IO/Socket.pm
line 114, <GEN8> line 99.

Notice, it says "Illegal seek," not "Bad file descriptor".

Is there another patch I need to apply that I didn't see?

Thanks.
