I've been searching around and have tried a number of suggestions including
deleting all of the SHA1 files under /usr/lib/perl

I tried, separately, re-installing Digest::SHA1 from CPAN and the sdk.
Neither has led to a successful install of Razor.

Could anyone who knows how to resolve this please lend a hand?

Thanks

Alan

Subject: [Razor-users] Failed to compile Razor Agents 2.36

I'll try and be brief: I attempted to do my 1st install of Razor last night
(on a redhat 8 system)

I started by using CPAN but abandoned this when one of the modules wanted me
to update my perl from 5.8.0 to 5.8.2 (which failed one of the tests so I
did not proceed).

The SDK compiled and installed fine.

The tools install seemed to work fine until I did the final make install.

I did see a warning that Digest::SHA1 was not found but both the SDK and
CPAN say that it is installed and the latest version.

The output for the make install was:

Digest::SHA1 object version 2.01 does not match bootstrap parameter 2.06 at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-

I can see that the SHA1 object was where it failed from but I don't have
enough nuts & bolts experience of Linux to fix this so any help will be
appreciated.

Thanks

Alan
