Am I right in thinking this list has no spam filtering because spam is often discussed?

It, like all sourceforge lists, has some very limited spam filtering, but not much.

Sourceforge does run the messages through SA, but they only add headers, no bouncing or tagging based on it.

Actually, even the limited spamfiltering gets in the way over on SA-Talk quite a lot.. you can't post anything containing the V-pill word, it will be bounced. This makes discussion of spam-filter rules difficult.

The only thing that the list itself has an option to do is to be open, or have any non-subscriber posts be sent to a moderator. SATalk shifted to the moderator system, but it's quite a burden on the moderator since a large number of non-subscribers post tech-support questions.
