For a month or two now (probably since an upgrade of amavisd-new or
SA but I'm not sure) I've been getting lots of this:

> spamd[8230]: razor2 check skipped: No route to host IO::Socket::INET:
> Timeout at /usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Dns.pm line 409.

That line is:

> Dns.pm:        $rc->get_server_info() or die $rc->errprefix("checkit");

and razor-discover -d seems to work fine when I check it manually:

> debug: 209.204.62.150 (0.1697)
> debug: Wrote server list to /root/.razor.lst
> debug: Closest server is 209.204.62.150

Since this has started happening the success of SA in flagging spam
for me has definitely been dropping off and I wonder if anyone can
suggest anything I should check on my system to see if there's
anything local that's causing this, or is just that the servers are
overloaded by the volume of pollution of smtp and the numbers of us
who are trying to filter it out?

TIA,

Chris
