Yes, yesterday evening they replied to me and pride was having issues due to load (AFAIK).
My guess is that with the major increase in virus activity (MyDoom & SoBig), and the subsequent spambots they create, load is way above normal for all larger mail servers (ISP/Big Corp), and as such, the razor servers are also getting hammered as more activity translates to more razor-checks. They then added two more servers to the config mix (servers.catalogue.lst). Now there are malice and thrill, in addition to pride. Thrill was timing out for a while when the additions were first made, but seemed to clear up within an hour or so. My main mail server, for example, normally processes around 35K+ msgs per 24 hour period, and it is up to about 50K+ now. So this sort of major spike in activity would definitely translate to a much larger load on the razor servers. With that said, Razor does appear to be back to normal working order, at least on my end, since about 1700 (-0500) yesterday. - Steve - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Hayes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2004 9:29 PM Subject: Re: [Razor-users] possible engine problem? > I can confirm that I it's working for me. > I have to say that I've been messing about trying to get razor working with > pretty well no idea what i'm doing , > but I've not done anything for a day, and I'm now getting positive reports > within what looks like the past 8 hours or so. > hth > Jim > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Razor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2004 11:47 PM > Subject: Re: [Razor-users] possible engine problem? > > > > It might be my imagination, but things seem to be back in order. > > Can anyone confirm? > > > > > > Michael Ley wrote: > > > > >Hi all, > > > > > >i'm running razor with SA and everthing worked fine.
