I installed razor-agents-2.36-0_4.rh8.0.at.i386.rpm on Redhat 8 and followed the install instructions http://razor.sourceforge.net/docs/install.php from (4).

razor-client seemed OK but I have problems with razor-admin -create. I get the message "No Razor Discovery servers available at this time".

After deleting ~/.razor to start afresh I tried again with the debug option. It seems it can't find razor2.cloudmark.com. I can not ping this address. It appears to an unkown host.

Mar 28 17:13:22.059470 admin[8552]: [ 6] Found 0 Discovery Servers via DNS in the razor2.cloudmark.com zone

After some Google searching, I tried again, this time forcing razor-admin to use a server that I _could_ ping...
razor-admin razor-admin -d -create -rs joy.cloudmark.com

This works. I then add joy.cloudmark.com to the ~/.razor/servers.discovery.lst and ~/.razor/servers.catalogue.lst files and it seems to work fine after that.

So is there something wrong with razor2.cloudmark.com? Why isn't Razor working out of the box?

Thanks,
SimonB
