Hello,
I just began using Razor in conjunction with spamassassin (which I've been using for a while). So far I have only reported spam sent to myself or administrative addresses. However as I understand it razor bases everything on the *body* of messages, rather than header contents. As a result, can I assume it is safe to report spam sent to mailinglists, as long as there is no mailinglist specific body content that would incorrectly trigger spam detection?
Note that I am not talking about unwanted ML traffic, I'm talking about actual
spam sent to public mailinglists.
That should be fine.. Razor doesn't catalog the From: or To: addresses.
However, I'd be a little bit cautious if the mailing list is one that inserts stock advertising footers like this list does. Razor may wind up cataloging the footer if the text alignment for e4 winds up right, or if the message is empty other than the footer.
