I did not patch it on the off chance it was now fixed.
That's really quite strange, because 2.40 does include the taint patch.
Check the Agent.pm to make sure it's really the same as the one in the 2.40 tarball
Your paths may differ, but this is how I compared them:
$ pwd
/home/mkettler/razor-agents-2.40/lib/Razor2/Client
$ diff Agent.pm /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/Razor2/Client/Agent.pm
$
Use locate Client/Agent.pm to find where Razor's Agent.pm got installed, make sure there's only one under perl's directories in /usr and/or /usr/local.
$ locate Client/Agent.pm /home/mkettler/razor-agents-2.40/lib/Razor2/Client/Agent.pm /home/mkettler/razor-agents-2.40/blib/lib/Razor2/Client/Agent.pm /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/Razor2/Client/Agent.pm
