Hi. I'm new to this list. Unfortunately I am not a linux user, but I really like this razor idea.

I have an idea of how to acquire large volumes of spam automatically with a high degree of confidence. Presumably this has already occured to people, but I was wondering if this is used in Vipul's Razor.

There are many possible definitions of spam. My idea is that there is a perfectly good universal definition of spam:
"any content that is sent to addresses that are exclusively acquired by address mining spiders".

So the basic technique would be to occaisionally set up a few new email addresses, and put them in some "spider bait" web pages. The spiders crawl in and bring the goodies back to their nest. Any email received by these email addresses is spam according to the above definition, and would be reported to Vipul's Razor.

Perhaps a tool for web administrators who use Vipul's razor could automate creation of spider bait web pages for this purpose.
