Hello Paul,
          which spamassassin are u using . if u are using 3.1.1 all u need to 
do is uncomment this line in the file

/etc/mail/spamassassin/v310.pre

loadplugin Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::Razor2

i think this will get u started..i dont thik u have to pay to be able to use. 
go through the wiki of spamassassin. i am sure u will find alot of tips thr..
