I can bring that up with Verilator upstream. For releases (which Debian uses), using the release date might be nice, and that information is (basically) available. Having _no_ date on the cover of the manual sounds unfriendly to the reader. IMHO, any document worth reading is up-front about its title, author, and date. - Larry
