With R:BASE X (Version 10) the "Tab Order" capabilities have been enhanced, providing easier recognition and manipulation of form objects that are placed within layers of other objects. A new separate "containers" panel displays all container-type objects, where selecting a listed object will separately list the objects contained inside it. http://www.razzak.com/tips/TabOrder1.jpg If an Enhanced Group Box control contains several fields, right clicking upon the Group Box and selecting "Change Tab Order" will display only the child controls located within the Group Box control. http://www.razzak.com/tips/TabOrder2.jpg The Tab Order Settings allow users to change the order in which the focus moves from object to object in a form, when pressing the Tab or Enter key. The tab order can be changed by rearranging the "top-down" order of the objects in the list. Different methods are available to reorder the position of items within the list. With the focus upon an item: . The green arrow buttons can be used to move an item up or down . A number value can be entered and changed with the "Change" button . An item can be dragged and dropped within the list The display of the Tab Order dialog can be altered to limit or expand the information for each control.
