Patti,

The R:BASE Editor syntax schemes are based upon the file extension of the
file displayed within the editor.

The following are the R:BASE defaults:

. ALL
. APP
. CMD
. BAT
. EEP
. FRM
. LBL
. PRO
. RMD
. RPT
. TBL
. VIE

What file extension are you using?

If it is .CMD or .BAT, then you will have to edit the "MS-DOS Batch Language"
syntax scheme to remove one or both of the listed file extensions:

. CMD
. BAT

After doing so, only the "R:BASE" syntax scheme will be applied to .CMD or .BAT
files.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak

We recently upgraded to Win 10 and now when I'm in RBEdit, the comments are no
longer pink.

I went into Settings,
then Editor Settings,
then Edit Syntax Scheme,
and selected Rbase Scheme Editor

Everything looks good there. The Highlight box is checked under Comments and
it is Fuscia in the text box.

But I still get black comments. Years ago, I was having a similar problem,
and someone suggested I get rid of one of the schemes because it was somehow
overriding the Rbase Scheme.

Can anyone help?
