Today I got a message that 'Value for GID cannot be NULL'. GID is a Primary Key that tracks Goal ID numbers in a table of Goals. The Initial Value was 1.75678 with Increment at 0. It should have been 1733 and 1. AutoNum was set On at Column design. So I used 'Unload Structure for Autonum' and found two other problems:
1. A non-Key column with Autonum on and garbage numbers. 2. A very small table with 244 rows but the Initial AutoNum value was 45,678. While those are very easy fixes, is there a likely reason why these numbers change? No one has access to the table design except me.
