Did you know that you can digitally sign your R:BASE Compiled (.EXE) applications?

Digitally signing your R:BASE compiled application (.EXE) confirms the code’s origin
and assure users that a malicious third party has not inserted malware.

Signing your executables with a digital signature also prevents unnecessary warning messages when running published R:BASE Apps on Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2 Cloud.

Effective immediately, all upcoming updates of R:BASE X, R:BASE X Enterprise, add-on products as well as sample applications will be digitally signed to prevent warning messages when downloading from R:BASE update sites and installing/running on your MS Windows operating systems (Windows 8, 8.1, 10, MS Internet Explorer 9, 10, 11,
Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012R2).

So, what is Code Signing R:BASE applications (.EXEs) with a digital certificate?

Code signing is the process of digitally signing executables and scripts to confirm the software author and guarantee that the code has not been altered or corrupted
since it was signed.

Once your R:BASE application (.EXE) is digitally signed, it establishes your
reputation and reduces warning messages with Microsoft’s SmartScreen Application
Reputation filterinstilling trust in end-users.

A comprehensive document with all details, secure certificate providers, and your
options will be made available soon at:

Digitally signed R:BASE XE Super Advanced Training (SAT) sample applications will
be provided to all attendees of RBGXE SAT in Germany this week.

Very Best R:egards,
