So there's another option called PROPERTY compid ACCEPT_EMAIL_DROP TRUE
that is supposed to work for dragging an Outlook email over. I do not have
Outlook here that I can test this on.
Has anyone (or Razzak) done this and have some screen prints of what you get
after the drop? Do you get the to/from/date/subject and body into the field?
I have someone who could probably use this if it does capture all
those things.

Hmm I will have to try it. I have had requests to drag and drop
outlook emails
into a field. Right now they copy and paste it in.
What you are seeing is an amazing enhancement request implemented for a MAJOR
project being completed for a corporate client.
Basically, this specific enhancement allows our custom application users to
drag their Outlook e-mail message along with any attachments, etc., and drop
into a custom form to store "anything" as a BLOB R:BASE record with a lot more
associated data, etc., for R:BASE Document Management and Tracking System.
Dropped Outlook emails are saved as (.msg) files in the TEMP folder. Then,
those saved Outlook messages along with all details are stored in R:BASE X
Enterprise database/application to be viewed using R:Mail Viewer.
That is a quick and sweet background of that cool feature in the latest
version and build of R:BASE X and R:BASE X Enterprise (Version 10).
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak
