I am Joe Sowers. I started Rbase consulting in 1984 when I walked into a Wayne Erickson seminar having nothing better to do. They handed me a copy of Rbase System 5 (or whatever the first version was, I can't remember) and said "Here son you are now an Rbase consultant." I just turned 80 and it is time to get out of this business and retire completely.
I have a client left that I don't want to leave out in the cold. He runs a luggage repair business in Southcenter just south of Seattle. He is running Rbase 6.5++ and it has been behaving nicely for years. His application is based upon work orders that transfer into invoices when completed with some state sales tax reporting. The system is on a Microsoft server with work station running Windows 7, 8 and 10 with migration going to all Windows 10.
