Wait a minute, Matthew....  I'm glad you posted this because I wonder if this 
is a problem I'm having.

I have a report in X with just one control -- an Advanced Rich Text, with mail 
merge.  Great to the printer and the screen, but it is BLANK when going to a 
PDF file.  Figured I was doing something wrong.  I wonder if I locate a static 
text or variable label on the report if it would work...   I'm going to try!

Crap... Figured it out. Apparent;y if there is no text on the label, it will 
not print the object at all to a PDF. My successful workaround was to add a 
space to those labels.


Before you ask, the labels just suited me better than shapes at the time, it's 
an old report. :)
