Tom,

The printer information looks good to me.

You may want to check your compiled project and everything associated with it, including resources and related path, if applicable.

To help you understand, I have uploaded a complied application "Report Output Options" that you can use to see if you are able to print a report to PRINTER.

Application Title: Report Output Options - R:BASE X Enterprise (Version 10)

Give it a whirl and see what you find!

I am not trying to run on a workstation. Here is what I do I compile an rff and save it in the same folder as my working copy. If I run the rff from R> it will print fine, but if I run the compiled rff it will not print straight to the printer, the receipt will pop up in the print window and I can print from there. I have been doing it this way from 7.5 thru 9.5(both 32 bit). I have now upgraded to XE(64bit).

Tom,

Without knowing all details of your application and the environment, check the printer information on workstation running your compiled application.

has something changed in the prnsetup in XE. I have done the following for years
set var vprintscreen(which I can set to printer or screen)
set var vprinter(which I can set to the default printer)

print myreport option .vprintscreen

This has always sent to doc directly to the printer, but on XE it always sends it to the screen whether my vprintscreen is set to printer or screen
