Hello, I like to do all my coding work in a copy of our database. When I want to transfer any new tables to the live database, I used to Export the data & structure in the database copy and input it in the live database. For the last year or so, 9.5 wasn't letting me do that normally anymore. There was a disconnect comment in the exported table but no "connect Healthy.RB1" command. After a few trials I figured out where to stick the connect command. Now I have Rbase 10. I tried to stick the connect command where I thought it should go, just before the Create Schema command. But it still doesn't work. Some of the errors I see: R>input healthy_table_newVR_Data_STructure.tbl-ERROR- newVR is an undefined table. (2038)-ERROR- No database connected ( 325)-ERROR- No database connected ( 325)-ERROR- Unrecognized command - retype it ( 40)-ERROR- Unrecognized command - retype it ( 40)-ERROR- Unrecognized command - retype it ( 40)-ERROR- Unrecognized command - retype it ( 40)-ERROR- Unrecognized command - retype it ( 40)-ERROR- Unrecognized command - retype it ( 40)...
Here is part of my exported table commands:...DISCONNECTSET STATICDB OFFSET ROWLOCKS ONSET FASTLOCK OFFCONNECT Healthy.RB1CREATE SCHEMA AUTHOR HEALTHY PUBLICCREATE TABLE `newVR` +(`ssnum` TEXT (11), + `momdob` DATE, +... Can someone tell me what the problem is? And why has this gotten so difficult? Sometimes these files are huge and I don't think we should have to go in through an editor and stick our commands in the middle. Especially if it doesn't work and I have to keep hitting the tab key for 10,000 records. Thanks,Patti -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBASE-L" group.
