Yesterday we encountered a problem with a pdf file... Adobe Reader opened it just fine but R:BASE balked at loading it in the PDFViewer, saying the file didn't exist... Turns out there was an extended character in the file name which looked just like a regular hyphen character. I noticed it in the R:BASE form where the file name clearly showed some kind of vertical character instead of the hyphen. Renamed the file and voilà, problem solved.
