Thank you Jan, Razzak and Javier! I've been using scrolling regions in Rbase for I dare say decades. I needed to think outside the box. I'll try the grid as you all have suggested. Never too late to use a better tool.

I demonstrated at one of the conference how to do it and there are probably old posts of mine with a detailed description of the process; I used to display the background of open work orders in red and worked well. However, it is so much easier and straightforward using grids that I switched to them a long time ago and never looked back. Time permitting I might be able to find one of the old forms and show the process. So if you have your tier color as GRAY and you want your row color to be RED when un-available, it will only do that on that specific row when you enter it. However, you should be able to accomplish what you desire using the DB-Grid and a form timer to update the colors based on availability, say a 10 second update. Hope that makes sense. The items displayed in the region can be determined to be "unavailable" at different times of the day or because of some other business decision. I would like to display that item (or entire tier) in a different font or color or some other effect which would let the order taker know that the item is presently unavailable, yet let them see what it is. I'm using Rbase X Enterprise (love it!) and can't seem to find a method to do this, or if it's even a possibility. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
