Did you know that you can run a highlighted/selected block of code in
the R:BASE Editor?
The new functionality is extremely helpful, especially if the specific
code is in the
middle (or end) of a command file and you don't want to run the entire
routine from the
beginning. Just, highlight the code, right click and choose "Run
Selection"

The "Run Selection" option is available from the right click > popup
menu, within the
editor "Run" button, and the [Ctrl+F8] key combination.
Both single line or multi-line code blocks can be highlighted and
executed, to quickly
test programming code.
The Run Selection functionality is ideal for:
. Previewing PAUSE and DIALOG commands
. Defining variables
. Creating temporary tables
. Testing a block of code in a large command file
. And more...
