Thanks for the tip, Doug. Saw the property command and this can work although I was hoping a launch to google (for example) with perhaps google script parsed to autofill search line… or similar… would be snazzy (vs cool or awesome).

The closest I came to filling in a search line was to copy the part number to the clipboard in R:Base, launch the web browser in another form to the search site and then manually paste (Ctrl-V) the part number into the search line. In my case I was searching property tax keys, the site opens with the cursor in the correct field. I bring up the browser in an MDI form so user can switch between the browser and R:Base maint form. Or a work-around (other than disabling enhanced speed buttons – ‘ENABLE’ FALSE ) for this scenario: Within an enhanced tab control object, one tabbed page is dedicated to a Web Browser object navigated to an online search engine. The user begins to enter the search criteria (part number 341876) however, if any one of the characters for this part number is assigned as an accelerator character in a sidebar button the character does not display in the browser website search line, rather, the eep code fires. Appreciate any tips on this scenario. Also, any tips in inserting the part number (TEXTVALUE variable via PROPERTY command) as a pre-fill in the browser site’s search line, such as google?
