Remember I asked for recommendations of programs that would automatically convert a PDF to a JPG. Several people recommended ImageMagick, which I downloaded and successfully got it to do things like convert JPG to PNG, etc.
However, in order for it to convert a PDF to any other format, it relies on there being a program gswin32c.exe, which their help forum says is "Ghost Script". Apparently newer computers (including my win10) do not have this program. There was a link to download it, website dating back to 2006, and it speaks to working thru Win XP. I'm reluctant to download it, and I'm guessing that all my users also wouldn't have this program so it'd be more work for them to install at every workstation. Can anyone enlighten me about this program and if it's okay to install? Karen -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBASE-L" group.
