Tip of the Day: CFG Path Displayed in Configuration Settings
Product.......: R:BASE X and R:BASE X Enterprise (Version 10)
Build.........: 10.0.2.20731 or higher
Section.......: Settings
Keywords......: Configuration, CFG, Environment, Installation

Did you know that the Configuration Settings dialog has been enhanced to
display the path of the R:BASE configuration file in use?

From the main menu bar, select Settings > Configuration Settings

When a database is not connected, the dialog displays the current settings
based on the RBENGINEX.CFG or RBENGINEXE.CFG files.

When the database is connected, the settings are read from the connected
database and the engine CFG files. Any changes made are then saved to the
RBENGINEX.CFG and RBENGINEXE.CFG accordingly.

With database-specific configuration files used for applications, it is very
possible to have many CFG files located on a computer. With this new feature,
it is much simpler to know exactly which CFG file you're using!

One of the most important aspects in business growth is your company's data,
and no one else has more invested in your success than R:BASE Technologies.
Invest forward with R:BASE!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
