Thanks all. Albert is correct vcamt does include gst. Claudine where clause missing - yes always has been --- must have been just luck or happenstance that it worked before. Break is there but not default. I'll have to check that out. Thanks all for help. Albert don't think a primary key is the problem as the row saves quite happily.
Also I had a rule where the date Cdatum >= '01/01/1999' the year I started. That started throwing an error after accessing the form designer. Saying date not greater than 01/01/1999. No sure why. Not a big issue - I just deleted it as it was not useful now we are in 2017 and I am unlikely to type a 1998 date any more. Anyway thanks for help.
