Tip of the Day: Added "Apply" Button in Data Dictionary
Product.......: R:BASE X and R:BASE X Enterprise (Version 10)
Build.........: 10.0.2.20731 or higher
Section.......: Data Dictionary
Keywords......: Database Schema, Settings, Environment

Did you know the Data Dictionary has been updated with an "Apply" button, that can
optionally be used to capture information while leaving the utility open?

When using the Data Dictionary to capture information, like a table or several columns, the selection is automatically inserted where the cursor is located within an available
input, such as the R:BASE Editor, or Expression Builder.

The "Apply" button captures and inserts the selected information and the window remains open. Double-clicking on selection or clicking on "OK" button will capture the selected information and the window will close. If no input is available, the selection is stored in the Windows clipboard. When stored in the Windows clipboard, the selection will be provided by pasting the content using [Ctrl+V] or by using a "Paste" menu option.

The Data Dictionary is accessible from anywhere in R:BASE using the following methods:

01. Pressing the [F3] key
02. Selecting "Tools" > "Data Dictionary" from the main Menu Bar

Topic: Using the R:BASE Data Dictionary (R:BASE X and R:BASE X Enterprise - Version 10)

The addition of the Apply button allows for easier data capturing from multiple columns in different tables, for gathering functions and variables, reviewing settings and files, and
more!

One of the most important aspects in business growth is your company's data, and no one else has more invested in your success than R:BASE Technologies. Invest forward with R:BASE!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
