I think I asked the same thing. I think the solution was to create a form to 
popup instead of pause.

I had the same issue where the users would click on the X and it would not 
finish processing.

I believe this has been asked before and I think the answer is NO.

Can the CLOSE (X) be disabled on a PAUSE?
I think it's no because it's a windows thing.

I'm finding weirdnesses in my system because I think users are closing the 
PAUSE before I issue the CLS.
