David, I believe that you need to determine which form will your primary form.
Call it using the MDI option. In the On After Start eep of the primary form, you need to call the second form using the MDI option. On the primary form include a close option that will close both forms on exit. I do know that for a client I created what you are trying to do. But I also believe I made copies of the 2 forms I wanted to use as I needed to make some changes to the MDI calls that would not be applicable if calling either of the original forms individually. Each time, as soon as the second form is not MDI it makes it so that I cannot use/make entries in the MDI form as the focus remains on the non MDI form until it is closed.
