The class of every edit box is not the same across all versions of RBASE so you will need a utility (usually one is within the installation of advanced language IDE) to obtain the classname of any edit box. There is still a good one up on my site that was written years ago by Mike Sutton, a then frequent contributor to the VB newsgroups.
