Bill,

I may be incorrect but I believe that a cfg will be created if your exe
doesn't find the mapped drive.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Compiler Question

Using Compiler for Rbase 95-64

When the executable starts up and connects to the database on the network
drive, an RBENGINE_95_64.CFG file is created on the network drive directory.
The compiler is set to include the RBase executable and Allow only one
instance of the program per computer.

A dat file with all the proper settings is in the compiler setup.

I have never seen a compiled program create an RBENGINE_95_64.CFG file in
the database or program directory.

Does anyone have any blues clues as to why this is happening ?

Thanks

Bill Eyring
