Hi Mohammed,

Your assessment is correct.

As explained in my mini-tutorial to Bruce Chitiea on May 20th, I suggested the technique
as follows:

SET ERROR MESSAGE 2038 OFF
DROP TABLE tablename
SET ERROR MESSAGE 2038 ON

CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE tablename ...
or
PROJECT TEMPORARY tablename FROM existingtablename USING columnlist WHERE COUNT = 0

That is the technique I have used in all my complex applications designed for small and
large clients, no to mention the Super Advanced Training (SAT) sample pack.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak

i have usually opted for dropping the table instead of delete rows so far i know that even if you delete the row the size of the $$$ file stays the same and then if you repopulate again it would increase Razzak am i right about this, please give your
unmatchable thoughts on this
