Tip of the Day: Refreshing List View Controls After Updates
Product.......: R:BASE X.5 and R:BASE X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5)
Build.........: 10.5.1.30326 or higher
Section.......: Forms
Keywords......: List View, Recreate, Refresh
Did you know there is a new property for list view controls that removes
the "flickering" effect that appears when refreshing the view after
updating values?
New "Recreate Columns After Refresh" property for Variable Lookup List
View and DB Lookup List View specifies if the columns are "preserved"
after the control is refreshed.
When checked, the columns are cleared then recreated every time the list
view contents are refreshed. When unchecked, the columns will be
populated only after the first load.
The difference is ... truly refreshing!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
