Did you know several new properties were introduced to better manage
filters within
Enhanced DB Grid controls?
The first is HASFILTER as a GETPROPERTY parameter for Enhanced DB
Grids to return
TRUE or FALSE for whether the grid has a filter applied.
GETPROPERTY InvGrid1 HASFILTER vHasFilter
Allied with the above is the PROPERTY parameter CLEARFILTER, to clear a filter
applied to an Enhanced DB Grid.
PROPERTY InvGrid1 CLEARFILTER 'TRUE'
Also, the GETPROPERTY command parameter FILTEREDROWCOUNT has been
added to return
the number of rows contained when an Enhanced DB Grid is filtered.
GETPROPERTY InvGrid1 FILTEREDROWCOUNT vFilterRows
The FILTEREDROWCOUNT parameter is different from the existing VISIBLEROWCOUNT
variation, which specifically returns the "visible" row count
displayed within the
grid control.
GETPROPERTY InvGrid1 VISIBLEROWCOUNT vDispRowCnt
With the above, the ability to program control over filters for
Enhanced DB Grids
is stronger than ever!
