Me too!  I was thinking of enabling this on every single report, but to be able
to do it with one property command in my app -- sweet!

Tip of the Day: Easily Enable "Find Text" in all Print Preview Screens
Product.......: R:BASE X.5 and R:BASE X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5)
Build.........: 10.5.1.30523 or higher
Sections......: Reports
Keywords......: Print Preview, Find Text, PROPERTY, Search

The new "Find Text" option in the Print Preview can be enabled on a per report
basis. But did you know that now it can be enabled system-wide, for all reports?

A new PROPERTY command parameter has been implemented to have all reports
displayed in the Print Preview to include the "Find Text" button.

PROPERTY REPORT FIND_TEXT_IN_PREVIEW ON|OFF

When enabled, the Print Preview screen displays a "Find Text" button on the
toolbar, to toggle the visibility of a panel for locating text in the displayed
report/label. The search allows for case sensitive criteria.
And, users may double click on the result item (child node) to go to that
specific page.

The Find Text button can be enabled on per report basis by selecting "Report" >
"Enable Find Text in Preview" from the Report Designer menu bar.

Databases containing many reports, where the Find Text option is required, can
take advantage of the above PROPERTY command to display the button, regardless
of the report setting!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
