Tip of the Day: Manipulating Tiles for the Tile Menu Control
Product.......: R:BASE X.5 and R:BASE X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5)
Build.........: 10.5.2.11111 or higher
Sections......: Forms
Keywords......: Tile Menu, Tile, Tile ID, PROPERTY, GETPROPERTY
Did you know a Tile's properties may now be altered dynamically by
the Tile ID value, for Tile Menu form controls?
The functionality allows for tiles to be manipulated with the PROPERTY
and GETPROPERTY commands similar to Property ID values, and adds an
added tier of usability for the Tile Menu control.
The below will disable the tile, assuming the Tile ID is DBMaint.
PROPERTY DBMaint ENABLED 'FALSE'
R:Docs X.5 has been updated with an extensive list of properties for
tiles in the Tile Menu control. A "Tile" entry was added as a separate
option just as with Group under Group Bar and Tab Page under the Tab
Control.
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
