We used to use the Tharo H-400 Series, for our warehouses, printing millions of labels a year. Definitely a work horse, however it was a maintenance nightmare to teach non tech people even how to change ribbons, and would have regular alignment issues. Someone introduced me to the Zebra ZD500 Printer and I can honestly say this is the toughest machine I have seen. Very compact, so easy to use, and for around $500 a great priced machine. We have 8 of them and in the past 2 years I have only had one that had to be replaced after 2+ million labels. You install them like any other printer on a workstation and in RBase just give it the parameter of that printer name. I have code that will print to 3 different printers based on the color label needed in one routine.
