Thank you for the response.  I'm troubleshooting some code and some of it has 
been copied/pasted in the same form, including the LABEL statement.  While I 
would not do this the way it's been done, I can sort of see the "why" it was 
done.

But the important part is knowing that R:Base execution always finds the first 
matching label without regard to following code. Now I can comment out and/or 
remove the duplication in that form that follows the first LABEL's 
corresponding RETURN without fear of changing the execution flow.

Why in the world would you assign duplicate label names?

In your situation, if you execute the GOTO MyLabelName command, it will always 
find the first matching label and it will never see the second label with the 
exact same name.

FYI, you have the option to assign 1 to 18 characters unique name for the label.
