OK, so long as myMainMenu has a component ID, just for the example "frmMainMenu", then in the onAfter eep of myReportsMenu you can execute Property frmMainMenu VISIBLE 'FALSE'
The myMainMenu and the myReportsMenu both have to be opened MDI and you can muck around with the Property frmBlahBlah SET_FOCUS to move between as needed, but anyway, in the OnClose event (EEP) of the myReportsMenu, set the VISIBLE property back to "TRUE" if you want to return to that form. I had a running example of this interaction with a timer form, but it is more complex than this example, but you can execute code on a second form, push buttons, whatever by using this method. I'm sure you can get it going.
