We use handhelds from zebra. TC-25. Which is basically phones. We use remote desktop services on them to use in production/warehouse. Then you can create compiled rbase applications to run on them.
You could also build web apps that will do the same. Just depends on your preference. We use tablets in production with web based oterro connected apps for quality control.
