I’m attempting to have a DB COMBO LOOKUP Box expand so the user can see the ID and description for selection, it then does a variable lookup on the description to display on the form but only stores the ID. Simple enough via an On Mouse ENTER EEP using the property command below
PROPERTY locate1 WIDTH '100' Now I can redefine the width with an On Click EEP to shrink the Combo box back to 40 pixels, this too creates no issue, however, if one is to hover over the component without clicking the combo expands and does not shrink because there is no On click to fire the EEP to shrink the combo box again so it stays expanded covering other data I want the user to see. Yes I could remodel the form but I do love a challenge. I have tried many different EEP combinations to overcome this but to no avail. I have also tried GETPROPERTY to pick up the current width of the combo box but that too does have the desired effect.
