Yes, I know I can do this. I am working with a table that comes from ESRI (GIS
application) that unbelievably still uses dBase tables with columns limited to
8 characters so columns names are cryptic and many fields that should be
numeric are defined as text.

Having said this, 99% of the time numeric columns are right justified and Text
columns are left justified. It would be nice to have this alignment as default.

I don't think there's a default setting you can use. But just want to make
sure you know you can change the alignment for multiple columns at once. On
the Columns tab, ctrl-click your numeric columns, right-click, column
properties, Alignment

When I create an enhanced grid and select columns, by default all the columns
are left justified. I would prefer that all numeric columns are right
justified, and all text columns left justified by default.

I imagine there is an easy way to change this setting, but I cannot be able to
figure it out. It would save a lot of time since most of the columns in my
application tend to be numeric.
