Tip of the Day: Unicode Support for Advanced Rich Text Output
Product.......: R:BASE X.5 and R:BASE X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5)
Build.........: 10.5.3.20304 or higher
Sections......: Reports/Labels
Keywords......: Unicode, Rich Text, Advanced Rich Text, Characters

Did you know that a new Unicode setting has been implemented for
the Advanced DB Rich Text and Advanced Variable Rich Text labels,
to properly display Unicode characters in rich text?

The Advanced Rich Text labels can now display all expected language
characters with rich formatting of text content, whether stored in
a table or variable.

The table column or variable data would use the VARCHAR data type.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
