Thank you, Tony. The only criteria at present is that the control has
received FOCUS via [TAB] from an upstream control within the Tab Order;
or, alternately, via [BACK_TAB] from a downstream control. The goal is
that the operator can see precisely which control has the FOCUS.
At present, I'm mucking about with Variable Radio Button, Variable Radio
Group, and Variable Check Box controls, where, when all are left in an
un-checked state, a distracted user has no immediate visual cue to
follow.

receiving focus
I'll be home in a couple of hours Bruce and have a look. Am I right in
thinking that when you tab to the next object you are wanting to get
property for hat object and then change the objects property based on
certain criteria ?

What is the correct approach to altering the visual properties (text
or object in-fill) of controls such as a Variable Check Box or
Variable Radio Group when that control receives, and while it holds
FOCUS?
In my Form design, I'm typically [TAB]bing between controls.
While experimenting with Object Properties, such as 'Effects' and
'Colors' via (F11), and, alternately, with their corresponding
EEP-embedded PROPERTY commands, I've had no success. These latter
attempts have been either embedded within upstream EEPs, or within the
On Enter EEP of the control receiving FOCUS.
This failure obtains whether focus is passed via [TAB] or via
SET_FOCUS.
Any cluse or perspective is most appreciated!
