I'm going to guess that if you did a SET NULL -0-, that the csv file would look as expected, with -0- in the null fields? If you have SET NULL ' ', then I wonder what your BLANK setting is really set to. Do a SHOW and make sure the BLANK really looks blank. I don't know how to change the setting with code, so maybe go into Settings / Configuration Settings and hit one space bar for BLANK? (caveat: I don't know if that's the correct way to do it, and I don't know if that changes it just for the user or for the entire network of users)
