UPDATE [TABLE] SET Refnum = (INT(FLOAT(TRefNo))) You could also define this as a computed column using (INT(FLOAT(tRefno)))
Or you could create a view that would. Do any operations using the view rather than the table. If you use a view, it will utilize less space because your table will have one less column.
