Nice enhancements. However, I do have question about grids:
When I add columns to a grid, it is added left justified by default, which is
fine for text columns but not necessarily for numeric columns. Is there a way
to set the default so numeric columns are right justified? While I occasionally
use the center justification for numeric columns, the great majority of the
time they are right justified.
It would not surprise me if there is already a setting that I missed. 😊

Tip of the Day: Using an Enhanced DB Grid's Font and Background Color
Product.......: R:BASE X.5 and R:BASE X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5)
Build.........: 10.5.4.11222 or higher
Sections......: Forms
Keywords......: Enhanced DB Grid, Font, Background, PROPERTY

Did you know that a PROPERTY command parameter was introduced which allows the
Enhanced DB Grid to use its own background and font color?

When initially defining an Enhanced DB Grid, the grid uses the font/background
color as defined under the "Properties" tab. In this state, the Enhanced DB
Grid is defined with "no columns" added to the grid. When the form is run, "all
columns" in the table are automatically displayed in the grid with the grid's
font/background color.

Once you add columns, those column font and background color properties
supercede those of the grid. The column definitions can then be customized
individually, and as a whole.

But what if you simply want to use the grid's font/background color?

The added COLUMNSUSEGRIDCOLORS property for Enhanced DB Grids will allow you to
use the grid's colors, and not the columns!

PROPERTY EmpGrid COLUMNSUSEGRIDCOLORS 'TRUE'

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
