I have learned that R:base can do anything, but I can't. So before I
pull out the rest of my hair......
What works....
We receive vendor invoices via a downloaded B2B CSV file which goes
directly into R:base using an eep.
We then use a form toedit the download which uses 2 DBGrids. Top one
shows all invoices with a BOL# for each.
As you change lines in the top grid, grid 2 order populates with the
lines on our order.
Click a line in dbgrid no. 2 and it updates the BOL# from the 1st grid
to a specific line in the order.
Works perfectly.
What does NOT work....
We also have vendors email us invoices, that we enter manually using a
similar form.
I want to have a DBGrid or some kind of a look-up table that will
populate when we enter the order no.
A DB Grid does not populate based on the order no. entered.
I get the desired result using a DB Lookup, it populates just fine, but
fails to recognize the detail number of a specific line when clicked.
I tried using a variable to get the detail line of the line clicked, but
that does not work.
Using R:base X
Hope I made this clear. Any suggestions appreciated.
